Koby and Tristan first met when they were 17 years old, were married at 24 and had their first and second child within 2 years after their wedding.
The journey with Pure Charm Jewellery began in 2010, driven by Koby's sentimental nature and love for art. When their first child, Cooper, arrived, Koby discovered the beauty of fingerprint jewellery—a unique keepsake unlike any other in a world of mass-produced pieces. Instead of buying one, Koby immersed herself in learning the craft and set up a small workspace at home while balancing part-time work. Tristan, wholeheartedly supported her passion, encouraging her to pursue this path of joy creating childhood keepsakes.
A turning point came three years later when Heritage Funerals sought a fingerprint impression for a grieving family. Despite initial hesitation, Koby took on the task and realized the profound impact of this service—something truly special that no one else offered in the funeral industry.
As the years passed and the business flourished through word-of-mouth recommendations and great support from funerals arrangers who referred their services, Tristan came on board to take over the print taking, admin and all the Dad duties as Koby needed to dedicate more time to making.
Since then, creating memorial and bereavent fingerprint jewellery has become their primary focus, and consider it their life's purpose to provide this meaningful service. Crafting these keepsakes allows them to weave lasting connections between cherished memories and treasured jewellery, leaving behind a legacy of love for generations to come.
